Software Marketing Docs (“SMD,” “the project,” “we,” “us”) is an independent, personal side project made available for free. It is not a registered company, and using it does not create any commercial relationship, warranty, or service-level commitment. By using SMD, you agree to these terms.
SMD is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. You use the project entirely at your own risk. Any costs you incur in connection with your use of SMD — including but not limited to Google Cloud, Google Workspace/Drive storage usage, API usage, or any other third-party cost — are entirely your own responsibility. We do not reimburse or take responsibility for any such costs.
As an unfunded personal project, SMD may be modified, interrupted, or discontinued at any time, without notice. We make no commitment to uptime, data durability, ongoing maintenance, or continued availability of the service.
Any documents SMD creates are written to your own Google Drive, under your ownership and control at all times. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated content for accuracy before relying on or publishing it — SMD does not guarantee the correctness, completeness, or suitability of generated content for any purpose.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any account that violates these terms, at our sole discretion.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the creator(s) of SMD be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the project — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of SMD shall not exceed zero U.S. dollars, given that SMD is provided free of charge.
This project is operated in good faith as a free, experimental tool. Nothing in these terms is intended to, nor should be read to, exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in full effect. We will act in good faith to promptly address any legitimate, good-faith reports of bugs, security issues, or policy violations.
These terms may be updated as the project evolves. Continued use of SMD after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
